Barbara Jean Workman

October 1, 1936 — September 26, 2024

Centralia

On September 26, 2024, the Lord took Barbara Jean Workman home to her mansion in the sky to be reunited with friends and family. Barbara was born October 1, 1936, to Hugh and Florence Lyle in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she was raised, attended school, and graduated in 1954.

Barbara worked various jobs in and around Colorado Springs when she finally met and married the love of her life, Aaron Workman, while he was stationed in the Army at Ft. Carson.

After a few years, Aaron got the itch to move back to Washington State, and with Barbara being up for the challenge, they traveled west to the town of Mossyrock. It was there they built their dream house and raised their two boys and watched them grow and expand their wings and fly from home.

She participated in several organizations, but church was the most important. Faith guided her in many different directions, and she never gave up her beliefs.

Barbara is survived by her sons Jeff and Kevin, many members of family and friends.
