Carlee Lynn Service

Carlee Lynn Service of Deer Island, Ore., was born Dec. 15, 1954, and passed away July 31, 2023.

Carlee was an amazing, beautiful woman inside and out. She was always putting others needs before her own. She spent her life building relationships, improving, and touching the lives of everyone she ever met. If you were ever in need she was there with a helping hand and a comforting word. It didn’t matter who you were, or where you came from. She was there for you. She always saw the best in people.

Carlee was a survivor. Even when life threw her a curve ball she fought back, and never quit. Her hope, stubbornness, and perseverance kept her going through love, loss, and everything in between. The world has lost a bright light with Carlee.

Carlee was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Thomas, and Alene and Jack Fishman; her husband, Hank Service; and a son, Arden Jensen.

She is survived by a son, Matthew Jensen and his wife, Josie; a stepdaughter, Susan Mysinger and her husband, Logan; six siblings, Larry, Arden, Jim, Randy, Shanda, and Daylen; four grandchildren, Christian, David, Ian, and Arden; a fur grandbaby, Precious; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
