Cindy Ann Stewart passed away on September 26, 2024, when she was 75 years old. Cindy was born on September 16, 1949, in Longview, Washington to Betty Finkas Liebe. She was preceded in death by her mother, stepfather Lewis Liebe, Sister Susan Tippery, brothers-in-laws Rod Stewart and Tom Marty, and sister-in-law Lyn Chuinard.
Cindy graduated from Castle Rock High School in 1967. In 1968, she graduated from Bernard’s Beauty College with a degree in Cosmetology. In 1969, she married the love of her life, Clarence Stewart. They were married for 55 wonderful years. She always said all her dreams had come true.
Clarence and Cindy have two children, Brandon (Jody) Stewart and Lynae (Rick) Beaber. They have five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Cindy loved all her family, and they were her first priority.
Cindy worked for many years for the Chehalis and Morton school districts as a Para educator. She loved canning, flowers, camping, yard work, clam digging, sewing, and going to the river.
Cindy is survived by her husband Clarence, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews she was very close too. She is also survived by her sisters' Kay (Rich) Grauman and Sherry (Larry) Schreck, brothers' Bob (Aleeda) Chastain and Pat (Linda) Chuinard, sister-in-law Sherrie Marty and brother-in-law Larry Tippery.
Her last message:
“If you are ever up on the south fork of the Toutle, near the mountain, look for me. I’ll be there hunting agates on the banks of the beautiful Toutle River.”
Graveside service to be held at St Francis Mission Cemetery in Toledo, Washington on Friday November 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Social Gathering immediately following at the hall.
