Douglas Val Phelps

Douglas Phelps, 56, of Centralia died at home, surrounded by friends and family, on September 22, 2024.

He was born in Portland in 1967 and graduated from Adna High School in 1985. His passion was to entertain. He was involved with Centralia College Theater, Evergreen Playhouse, Portland Opera House, and many other community programs throughout Oregon and Washington. He sang and ran a Karaoke business in the Centralia/Chehalis area. Forever a Seahawks and Mariners fan, he could always be found rooting on his teams, even when visiting family out of state. He loved the woods and enjoyed spending time working in the forestry industry. 

Doug was preceded in death by his dad, Keith Jorgensen, and is survived by his Mother, Dianne Phelps, Sister Corrie Lieberman (Phelps), niece, nephew, grand-niece, and many other family members and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at Luxe Wine Bar (207 N Tower Ave, Centralia, WA) from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Please contact Corrie Lieberman at (909)319-3896 if you are planning to attend or have any questions about the services.
