Kelly C. Fetters, Sr. was born on March 20, 1971, to parents Jeanne Fetters and Kenneth Fetters
in Toledo, Washington. A visionary entrepreneur whose indomitable spirit and relentless pursuit of
innovation transformed industries, passed away peacefully in his home after a valiant five-year
battle with cancer at the age of 52.
Born with an insatiable curiosity and an unwavering determination, Kelly embarked on a
remarkable journey marked by academic excellence and entrepreneurial prowess. Graduating
from Centralia College with his Associate’s in Applied Sciences Energy Technology where he
received Outstanding Student of the Year in 2011 for his involvement with the community and
served as the President of the Rotaract Club and Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa. He later
matriculated to The Evergreen State College where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in
Sustainable Energy/Business.
Kelly was a trailblazer in the business world, establishing several successful ventures that
reshaped industries and left an indelible mark on society. His passion for automobiles led to the
founding of a pioneering car detailing shop Platinum Auto Salon, in Laurel, MD setting new
standards for excellence and customer service in the automotive industry.
His vision extended beyond conventional boundaries, as he fervently championed the cause of
renewable energy. Recognizing the pressing need for sustainable solutions, he founded
Renewable Energy Design Concepts, REDC that pushed the boundaries of clean energy
technology, striving to create a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.
While Kelly faced a formidable adversary in his battle against cancer, his courage, resilience,
and optimism never wavered. He tackled each day with unwavering strength, becoming a
beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew him.
Beyond his professional achievements, Kelly was a devoted family person, cherishing moments
with his loved ones and finding joy in simple pleasures. His kindness, generosity, directness, and
unwavering spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known
him.
Kelly leaves behind a legacy of innovation, compassion, and steadfast determination. His impact
on the business world and his community will endure as a testament to his remarkable life. He
will be dearly missed and remembered fondly by family, friends, fishing partners, colleagues,
and all whose lives he touched.
Kelly is proceeded in death by his grandmother, grandfather, and stepfather. Kelly leaves to
