It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd E. Norman Sr., 85, on February 3rd, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Lloyd was born on April 1st, 1939, to Egnard and Iris Norman, and was raised in Napavine, Washington and graduated from Napavine High School in 1957.
On November 11th, 1961, he married Arlyne Norman. He then joined the U.S. Army and after leaving the military he started his career with the United States Post Office in Chehalis, WA. After his retirement from the post office Lloyd, worked several more years at Sunbirds shopping center.
Lloyd loved the outdoors! He enjoyed hunting, fishing, fly tying, writing songs and poems and being active in church. He loved listening to high school football on the radio and looked forward to reading the scores in the local newspaper.
Lloyd is survived by his four children: Eric (Dawn) Norman, Kenneth Norman, Angela (John) Anderson, and Vicky Chambers, also six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, Brother Dennis Norman, and Sister-in-law Judy Norman.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his Wife Arlyne Norman, Grandson Kieran Norman, Parents Egnard and Iris Norman, Brother Jack Norman, and Nephew Joe Norman.
There will be a short Graveside Service on February 20th, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Napavine Cemetery. All are welcome to attend. Following the graveside service family and friends are welcomed to join us for a meal at his favorite place to eat, Ocean Sky Chinese restaurant in Chehalis.
In memory of Lloyd Norman, we invite you to honor his passion for Napavine High School sports with a contribution to the school in lieu of flowers.
