With deepest sorrow, we announce that Trenton L. Piatt, age 42, our most beloved son, brother, uncle, family member, and dear friend passed away on October 30, 2024, in an accident doing what he loved best riding his bicycle. He rode those roads for 21 years and will continue to do so in spirit.
Trenton was born in Layton, Utah on August 9, 1982, to Troy and Edie Piatt. Trenton graduated from White Pass High School in 2001. Although Trenton never married or had children he loved one woman for a long time, Misty. Those who knew Trenton, even just a little lost a shining light in their lives. Trenton loved playing games with his mom, camping, fishing, hiking, cycling, chess, sharpening knives, skiing, and his bible studies on his phone. He loved to learn about anything and everything.
Trenton was a unique soul and would do anything for anyone. He always put others first. Who else nowadays will walk their mom to her car and open the door for her, well Trent did. His favorite time of year was the summer, especially the weekend of the Morton Loggers Jubilee when dear friends and family would come to visit. He looked forward to this all year long. I want to thank Jake and Brandy for all the years they came up 5 weeks a year using Jake’s vacation time to do things with and take Trenton places or just sit around and talk, play chess and other games, or play with his buddy, Jaxon, in the creek. Trenton and Jake were like brothers.
Trenton will be missed every day by his mom and best friend Edie (Pat), sister Dawn (Jody), two brothers Donald (Terri), and Brandon (Shelia), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and dear friends. We know Trenton is now with his dad Troy Piatt, Grandparents Wanda and Dale Piatt, Helen and Tom Bircumshaw, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins and is loved here on Earth as well as in Heaven.
We love and miss you so much, my son XOXO! A Celebration of Life will be held the second weekend in August 2025 at Edie’s in Glenoma. More details to come.
