Wesley Boyd Steele, familiarly known as “Wolfie”, was born to Chester and Ruth Steele on June 3, 1951 in Morton, Washington. He went to be with his Lord on September 28, 2020 at the age of 69.
Beloved son of the late Chester and Ruth Steele, Wesley was also preceded in death by a Sister: Beradine Ferguson.
Wesley was a lifetime logger, starting at the early age of 16. Because of this life-long occupation, he considered his logging buddies just as close as family. Those who spent time with Wesley knew he spoke a unique language of his very own. They also knew he was a very generous, loving, and caring man who seemed to be at one with nature.
He is survived by his daughters: Stefanie Steele-Garcia and Colleen Steele, as well as his siblings: Virginia Hendry, Jeanette McMenamy, Debra Steele, Rita Fleming, Tracy Steele and Norman Steele. Wesley will also be missed by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Wesley's long-time partner, Karen Norman, would like to extend a very special thank you to the wonderful caring nurses of Assured Hospice. Please make donations in honor of Wesley to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation.
